SmartPage-urile sunt pagini special optimizate pe anumite cuvinte cheie si atasate site-ului sau altor situri auxiliare. Aceste pagini fac un redirect din javascript sau flash catre siteul principal.
Aceste pagini pot sa nu fie legate direct din siteul principal, dar trebuie avute linkuri spre ele pentru a putea fi indexate de motoarele de cautare. Odata indexate, smartpage-urile fiind optimizate special pe acele cuvinte cheie vor prinde o pozitionare multe mai buna decat o pagina normala.
Atentie: daca cineva observa aceste pagini sau cumva motoarele de cautare se seziseaza exista riscul ca siteul sa fie permanent (sau pe o perioada de peste 6 luni) exclus din index.
O solutie mai convenabila ar fi ca smartpage-urile sa fie gazduite pe siteuri gratuite sau pe situri unde nu este o problema excluderea lor din indexul motoarelor de cautare.
